Bulk Trash Collection

Important: No Bulk Collection during weeks with a 5th Monday.

During months with 5 Mondays, there will be no bulk trash collection on the weeks that begin with the 5th Monday of the month, including:

 2026
  • March 30, 2026
  • June 29, 2026
  • August 31, 2026
  • November 30, 2026
Bulk Trash must be placed out no earlier than Sunday and no later than 7 a.m. Monday; collection starts promptly at 7 a.m. on Monday!

Easy Tips for Bulk Trash Collection

  • Collection Schedule
    Bulk trash is collected once a month during your scheduled service week; see the schedule here.  Place items at the curb between Sunday and 7 a.m. on Monday. 
  • Accepted Items
    Dispose of large items like furniture, landscaping debris, and other approved bulk items.  Please note that construction materials, demolition debris, and hazardous waste are not accepted.  Leaves or yard debris must be bagged and placed with the bulk pile—or you can put them in your regular garbage cart.
  • Bulk Pile Size
    Up to 10 cubic yards (about the size of a mid-size sedan, like a Honda Civic).  Dimensions: Roughly 3 feet high, 15 feet long, and 6 feet wide.
  • Placement Tips
     Keep piles clear of obstructions like:

                        *Storm drains

                         *Power lines

                          *Trees

                          *Fences

                          *Parked cars

                          *Mailboxes

 

Major Appliance Collection

We also offer free collection of household metal items and white goods (major appliances). These items are collected during the week of your scheduled bulk collection, however, since these items are recycled they are collected by a separate vehicle. The items must be separated from your other bulk trash items. As with bulk pickup these items must be placed curbside, in a neat and orderly fashion, no later than 7 a.m. on the Monday of your collection week.
