Oakland Park remains dedicated to strengthening the connection between our schools and the broader community. In September, Oakland Park held its second meeting of the year with the City Commission, School Advisory Board, and principals from local schools to offer support, assess resources, and address needs. This ongoing initiative reflects our commitment to ensuring the best possible educational experience for students in our city.

Earlier this year, in February, city leaders gathered with school officials, the School Advisory Board, and local business owners to explore ways the business community could collaborate to support our schools and improve educational opportunities for our students. This important meeting, part of the Downtown Business Partners event, highlighted the collective effort of Oakland Park's schools, businesses, and the City Commission.
