Mission

The Engineering and Construction Management Division is responsible for the management of all construction within the City's right-of-way and the development  and implementation of the City's Capital Improvement Program from concept through funding, project management, and construction completion while involving stakeholders to minimize inconvenience to to residents and to restore affected property to the original or better condition.

Building Our Second Century

The Engineering and Construction Management Division is responsible for delivering the $40 million facilities bond that was approved by nearly 70% of voters on November 6, 2018. The bond will fund the modernization of the City's three Fire-Rescue Stations municipal Library and Community Centers that serve Oakland Park's diverse population including children, seniors, and adults.
