The 6th annual Senior Appreciation Day was a heartwarming success. It brought together around 60 of our cherished Oakland Park seniors for an evening filled with fun, laughter, and unforgettable memories. Held on August 23rd from 4-7 p.m. at Funky Buddha Brewery, the event embraced the lively theme of “Senior Prom,” our seniors truly brought their dancing shoes!

The evening began with time to mingle and catch up, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. As they sat down to dinner, guests were greeted with a rose and a certificate of appreciation as a token of our community's deep respect and gratitude. After the delicious meal, the dance floor beckoned, and our seniors didn’t hesitate to groove to nostalgic tunes. A few lucky guests even won beautiful flower bouquets sponsored by Humana or gift cards from Chick-fil-A.
