The South Florida Regional Transportation Authority plans to perform maintenance on the railroad crossing on Oakland Park Boulevard. West Oakland Park Boulevard, just west of I-95, will be closed to vehicular traffic in both directions from Friday, January 19th at 9 p.m. to Tuesday, January 23rd at 6 a.m.
Traffic will be detoured to Commercial Boulevard via State Road 7 and Powerline Road.
The closure may be extended in the event of inclement weather. The closure will allow workers to repair the railway crossing safely. Drivers should plan ahead and expect delays. We thank our residents for their patience and apologize for any inconvenience.
