Please be advised that beginning Thursday, May 1, 2025, David Mancini and Sons, Inc. (DMSI) will begin construction activities for Phase 6 of the Prospect Lake Clean Water Center Water Main Project. Work will involve installing a 48-inch water main at the intersection of NW 21st Avenue and Prospect Road. Northbound lanes across NW 21st Avenue will be closed for approximately two weeks.
Beginning Monday, May 5, DMSI will initiate Phase 9 of the project, installing a 48-inch water main via open-cut excavation along Prospect Road from NW 10th Terrace to NW 10th Avenue. During this phase, Prospect Road will be reduced to one travel lane through the work zone in each direction. Additionally, there will be cross street closures at NW 10th Terrace and NW 10th Avenue.
Detour Routes:
For Phase 6: NW 21st Avenue Closure
- Northbound Traffic: Turn left onto Prospect Road, then right onto Commercial Blvd.
- Westbound Traffic: Continue west on Prospect Road, then right onto Commercial Blvd.
- Eastbound Traffic: Continue east on Prospect Road, then left onto Powerline Road.
For Phase 9: Cross Street Closures
- NW 10th Terrace and Prospect Road
- The cross street will be closed.
- Access to Prospect Road from NW 10th Terrace: Use NW 12th Terrace.
- Access to NW 10th Terrace from Prospect Road: Follow posted detour signs to NW 12th Terrace.
- NW 10th Avenue and Prospect Road
- The cross street will be closed.
- Access to Prospect Road from NW 10th Avenue: Use NW 38th Street, then Powerline Road.
- Access to NW 10th Avenue from Prospect Road:
- Eastbound: Proceed to Powerline Road, then NW 38th Street.
- Westbound: Proceed to NW 21st Avenue, then NW 31st Street/Powerline Road/NW 38th Street.
