Recycling

Oakland Park is committed to reducing waste and protecting our environment through easy, reliable recycling services.  Weekly curbside recycling is available to all solid waste customers and is an important way residents can help conserve resources and keep our community clean.

To ensure recyclables are processed correctly, it is important to recycle right. Only place accepted items loose in your recycling cart.  Do not bag recyclables, as plastic bags can contaminate the entire load and cause otherwise recyclable materials to be discarded.

Use this page to learn what belongs in your recycling cart, common items that should be kept out, and simple tips to help your recyclables make it through the sorting process successfully.
