VITA Free Tax Preparation

Adults. Have your taxes prepared for free through the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program. IRS certified volunteers provide free basic income tax return preparation with electronic filing for qualified individuals at the Ethel M. Gordon Oakland Park Library from January 31 to April 15 each Tuesday from 1pm-4pm, and Saturday from 9am-12pm. There will be no service on February 11th and March 4th. Before going make sure to call the library at 954- 630-7374 or 954-630-4378 to find out the list of items you need to bring in preparation of your visit. The program is made available through the Hispanic Unity of Florida and services are provided in English and Spanish.
