PulsePoint CPR Training Class

Oakland Park Fire Rescue is offering free CPR Classes. The City’s Fire Rescue personnel will conduct the class May 22 at Jaco Pastorius Park Community Center (1098 NE 40th Court) from 6:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.
The classes also encourage adding the “PulsePoint” smartphone app. When the 911 system receives a call of a person unresponsive or experiencing difficulty breathing, a signal is received by the PulsePoint users in the nearby vicinity who are able to rush to help them victim before professional help arrives.
Oakland Park’s CPR Training Classes are free to residents ages 16 and above. To register or seek additional information regarding the City’s CPR Training schedule, please email Fire Rescue Administration at: emily.zambrana@oaklandparkfl.gov or call 954-630-4550.
