Summer Food Program Serves Children Free Lunch & Snacks


The Oakland Park City Commission authorized the City to participate in the 2018 Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) through the State of Florida, Department of Agriculture.

Free hot and cold lunches will be served Monday through Friday from noon to 1 p.m. along with free snacks provided Monday through Friday from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. starting Monday, June 11th through Friday, August 10th with the exception of July 4th when City facilities are closed for the Independence Day Holiday.

The program is open to ALL children ages 18 and younger. For the 2018 SFSP, Oakland Park will serve free lunch and afternoon snacks at:

  • Collins Community Center, 3900 NE 3rd Avenue
  • North Andrews Gardens Community Center, 250 NE 56th Court
  • Spiher Recreation Center, 1246 NE 37th Street
