    City Commission Meetings are held on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month. Meetings are broadcast live on Comcast Channel 78 and AT&T u-Verse Channel 99. Commission meetings are also live streamed on the city’s website. The public is welcome and encouraged to attend commission meetings. Agendas are available prior to the meetings. Minutes are available following approval.

The instructor is a Certified Yoga Teacher with 18 years experience practicing yoga in the Ft. Lauderdale area. She comes to the class with valuable experience as a parent of a young adult with ASD. IRS certified volunteers provide free basic income tax return preparation with electronic filing for qualified individuals at the Ethel M. Gordon Oakland Park Library from January 23, 2018 to April 14, 2018 on Tuesdays from 2pm-5pm and Saturdays from 9am-1pm with Saturday, February 17th and Saturday, March 17th being special days when no services will be provided. Before going make sure to call the Library at 954- 630-7374 or 954-630-4378 to find out the list of items you need to bring in preparation for your visit. The program is made available through the Hispanic Unity of Florida and services are provided in English and Spanish.
