Special Olympics Saturday Sports


This Saturday sports program is a year-round Special Olympics training for adults with intellectual disabilities. The program begins in September and ends in June. Participants work to improve their skills in sports and activities such as bowling, bocce ball, basketball, and arts and crafts.

Registration is on-going. The participants meet at Spiher Recreation Center and activities are conducted at Royal Palm Park.

Camp Olympiad
Camp Olympiad is a 4-week Special Olympics training program for adults with intellectual disabilities. Camp operates in the months of June and July. The program provides sports activities in bowling, bocce ball, basketball, fitness walking. Enrichment activities such as arts and crafts, field trips, Library Arts, computer technology training, movies and participating in the performing arts.
